Hilary is a Marin County-based photographer with a passion for capturing real, heartfelt moments. Growing up in Novato, Hilary’s love for photography began at the age of 10, when she first picked up a camera and started dreaming of one day becoming a National Geographic photographer. Her early fascination with the world through the lens led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Photography from the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography.
After graduating, Hilary worked as a commercial photographer, honing her technical skills and developing her unique photographic style. But when she had her first child, her perspective on photography shifted. The birth of her son inspired Hilary to transition into family photography, where she found her true calling. Today, Hilary specializes in creating timeless, authentic portraits of families, capturing the moments that matter most.
Now living in Terra Linda with her husband, two young boys, and two energetic dogs, Hilary has become a trusted name in family photography throughout Marin and San Francisco. She has worked with hundreds of families over the years, helping them preserve their most precious memories. Her work has earned her recognition as one of the "Best of the County" family photographers by Marin Magazine for the past two years—a testament to her dedication and talent.
